Motzko & Associates Has Released The Production Version 6.0 of QuikPDAÓ The Personal Database Assistant, which is a subset of QuikPDRÓ & QuikTRKÓ databases, provides inventory and availability display on a Palm OS device.March 27, 2002 -- Redwood Shores, California QuikPDA is a new user-based product installed on a Palm OS device that utilizes the ODBC connectivity built into QuikTRK to set status and availability, as well as other critical inventory information. The resulting database (in .pdb format) is run as a Palm OS applet that can be read by any simple database application installed on a Palm OS device such as the Palm III, IIIx, IIIe, IIIxe, IIIc, V, Vx, VII, VIIx, M100, Handspring Visor devices, IBM Workpad devices, Qualcomm PDQ, Symbol SPT1500 and SPT1700 series, Sony Clie and the TRG Pro. This applet requires that the device be running the Palm OS 3.x and have at least 4Mb of free memory. The hot sync process can be structured to update all displayed fields including, status & availability as well as processing new inventory additions.. Many PDA database applications such as FileMaker Pro Mobile, HanDBase, JFile, Oracle9i/Lite, Teal, etc... can be used with equal results; Client's choice!
